Therapies and Holistic Practices

Hugh MacNeil RCST®: Craniosacral Therapy practitioner

Background:

Hugh first came across Craniosacral Therapy ten years ago as a patient suffering from headaches. He was impressed by the short time it took for him to be relieved of the condition, and subsequently undertook formal training in this therapy. He is now registered as a Craniosacral Therapist with the therapy’s governing body the CSTA.

What can you expect from Hugh during a treatment session?

Hugh’s treatment approach understands that emotional well-being is essential for good health. He follows basic principles, with a view to allowing the client’s body to freely express its fundamental life-force – the breathe of life. This involves establishing or restoring potency and vitality through his non-invasive therapeutic touch.

He takes a pure approach to Craniosacral Therapy. In order to prevent dilution of the potency of this therapy, he has resisted the temptation to supplement it with others.

His application of Craniosacral Therapy is extremely gentle. He works with clients, at their own pace, in order to bring about gentle yet effective healing in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Hugh is not formulaic in his method, but instead respects the distinctive story that each individual has. His approach is flexible and adapts to the needs of the moment of each unique session.

Treatment Times:

Hugh’s core treatment times at movingartsbase are:
