Rates of hire Studio 10: from £15 to £25 per hour Studio 2: from £15 to £25 per hour Studio 3: from £8 to £18 per hour Rates of hire depend on the activity the space is being used for, and factors which influence the individual or organisation’s ability to pay such as funding status. However, we can sometimes negotiate rates of hire and would encourage prospective users to contact us. Additional special rates for Studio 3 Due to enhanced interest in the lower rates of studio hire that were offered to Resolution choreographers, we have decided to continue the policy of offering lower rates of hire to small, unfunded artists and companies to rehearse. We now have a new, lower rate of £8 per hour, subject to ability to pay. The lower rate will apply to the Studio 3 space and are only for rehearsal sessions booked between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Separate rates apply for photographic, television and film shoots. Hire fee available on application. More info... Payment and Cancellation Policy Once a booking is verbally confirmed between the Hirer and movingartsbase, a deposit of 30% becomes due immediately. This is not refundable upon cancellation at any point. The full payment is due no later than two weeks before the start of the booking, and cancellation by the Hirer after this point results in the whole booking having to be paid for. Bookings made within two weeks of the start date of the hire period must be paid for in full upon confirmation or shall not be deemed confirmed. Payments are accepted by cheque or BACS. For further information please read the Conditions of Hire. 1:1 TREATMENT ROOMS Availability Monday to Friday, 9:00am-8:00pm (last booking at 8.00pm to ensure the session has finished and the room is vacant by 9.30pm). Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pm (last booking at 5:00pm to ensure the session has finished and the room is vacant by 6.30pm). There is no minimum or ongoing commitment to hire rooms, and we can often accept same-day bookings (which should preferably be made by phone and not email). Rates of hire Small: £12 per hour Middle: £15 per hour (£10 per hour for discounted treatments) Large: £16 per hour Registration and Licencing of Therapists movingartsbase holds a Special Treatments Licence for all 'hands on' therapies, This means that before the start of their first session at movingartsbase all therapists must supply the movingartsbase office with copies of their: • certificate of qualification • professional body registration • Public Liability insurance (at least £1million) All hands-on therapists must also complete a 'client sheet' after every booking which details who they have treated that day. These will be kept on file by movingartsbase. For details of which treatments and professional bodies are recognised under the terms of our licence, please contact us. Payment and Cancellation Policy New therapists are required to pay a deposit of £30 which is refunded when we receive payment against the first invoice. Invoices are issued at the end of each month for all room use during that month. Should the Hirer cancel a booking with less than 24 hours notice movingartsbase will charge the full fee.
