"Movement and healing in a contemporary setting" movingartsbase is a centre for the performing arts and healing in Islington, north London. We run a programme of events for performing artists, and provide affordable, quality facilities for the rehearsal, practice and learning of performing artforms and healing arts. We have three dance studios and four small rooms suitable for one to one therapies. All movingartsbase space hirers and clients are invited; the meeting offers an opportunity to network, share information, ask questions of the staff and each other, and have your say. With wine and nibbles at the end. RSVP to info@movingartsbase.co.uk Call for Visual Artists movingartsbase offers its corridors, reception area and treatment rooms for visual arts exhibitions. We aim to have a new exhibition every 3 months or so. Ideally work should fit into our ethos of movement, theatre, health etc. but we are also open to other ideas too as long as they look interesting in the space. If you are a visual artist, or know of an artist who might like to exhibit with us, you can find guidelines for exhibitors here. New Cancellation Policy for Weekend Studio Use From January 2008 all weekend bookings will be subject to a one month cancellation period, meaning that bookings must be confirmed and paid for in full one month in advance. Weekday bookings remain subject to a two week cancellation period.
